The Raw Deal with Jay Weidner. Began with Tucker’s interview of Putin at the Kremlin, which was a triumph for the alternative media. It garnered over 50 million views the first five hours it had been posted. Putin laid out the complex history of Ukraine and explained that the current country was fabricated out of parts of Hungary, Romania, and Poland–where, if Russia is forced to take all of Ukraine, I predict those will be returned to their respective nations of origin. I was surprised that he did not discuss Israel, but (in all likelihood) that was ruled out as part of their conversation on this occasion. Scott Ritter had a positive take on the interview, as did I. And my guest, Jay Weidener, was similar in his take on Tucker and Putin. Jay has produce a film about the assassination of JFK, “JFK X”, wherein he claims that it was staged and that Jack did not die in Dallas on 22 November 1963, which I contested by suggesting that the extant version of the Z-film–on which hie argument is strongly dependent–was unreliable for drawing the conclusion he has drawn, where we have a mountain of evidence about his death that goes far beyond what he cites. I like Jay and have previously interviewed him about the moon landing hoax. In this case, however, I think he got it wrong. Perhaps we’ll discuss this on another occasion.
